CLOSE UP ON DEBBIE STANFORD-KRISTIANSEN
An accomplished leader, Debbie Stanford- Kristiansen brings with her the vast experience gained at such companies as Regent Exhibitions – IMEX Frankfurt, where she served as Vice President for Global Sales from 2001 until 2005. In 2005, Debbie joined Bahrain Exhibition and Convention Centre, and earned the post of Chief Executive Officer. Her professionalism, motivation and dedication did not go unnoticed by colleagues and partners. Indeed, Ritz-Carlton director Karin Andrews said, “Debbie is a super human with a big heart and has a wonderful work ethic; she takes huge pride in her and her team’s work.” In 2009, Debbie became CEO of events@ Bahrain, where she achieved exemplary business growth despite the economic climate. Gulf Film management appointed Debbie Stanford- Kristiansen in the position of CEO of Grand Cinemas in July 2013. Since joining, Debbie has led the company’s growth over the preceding year, and will continue to successfully lead the transition to the recently rebranded Novo Cinemas.
