Chinese investors have poured more than US $350 million into Dubai’s property market over the last two years, according to Beijing Youth Daily.
China is Dubai’s largest trading partner, and there are around 4,200 Chinese businesses operating in Dubai. About 10% of Dubai’s residents are Chinese.
Further Chinese investment in Dubai has been encouraged by the stabilising of the markets since the global financial crisis saw the property market crash and prices slashed in half.
